Trinidad Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Elderly Man

A 71-year-old who was reported missing in September was found in October, the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident, according to Fox 21 in Colorado Springs. The motorcyclist had last been seen on September 29 and was reported missing on October 1. The authorities are unsure of the approximate time of the wreck, but the motorcycle accident was reported on October 2. The cause of the deadly crash is also still unclear. According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the victim was traveling west on Colorado 12 on his 2011 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle prior to the wreck. At some point, the motorcycle went off the road and continued until it hit a log. CSP reported that after the motorcycle hit the log, it continued westbound before hitting a tree. Denver Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident

A multi-vehicle accident involving a Denver man left two motorcyclists injured in Pennsylvania, according to Lancaster Online. The accident happened on September 27 near the intersection of Route 222 and Landis Valley Road in Manheim Township, Pennsylvania at around 4:30 p.m. “It appeared a car struck the back of the motorcycle, causing the two riders to be thrown off the cycle,” Manheim Township Fire and Rescue Chief Rick Kane told Lancaster Online. According to Manheim Township police Sgt. Tom Rudzinski, there were a total of four vehicles involved in the wreck, including the motorcycle. The drivers of the vehicles included a 23-year-old Denver man, a 19-year-old man from Lancaster, a 41-year-old woman from Kirkwood and a 25-year-old man from Lancaster. “The only driver listed as a patient at Lancaster General Hospital on Saturday was [the Denver man], who was in fair condition,” a nursing supervisor told Lancaster Online. Five Killed in SUV, Two-Motorcycle Accident

CBS 5 in Northern Colorado is reporting that four motorcyclists and a SUV passenger were killed in a multi-vehicle accident in Pennsylvania. The fatal motorcycle accident happened on October 19 in the afternoon near the Pennsylvania-Maryland border. Leading up to the accident, the SUV was traveling northbound on the Fort Ritchie Access Road in the south-central Pennsylvania community of Washington Township, which is not far from Waynesboro. At the same time, two motorcycles carrying four people were headed southbound on Fort Ritchie. For unknown reasons, as the vehicles converged, the SUV crossed the centerline and crashed into one of the motorcycles. Then after colliding with the first motorcycle, the SUV spun around and was broadsided by the other motorcycle.
